Ok campsite. Great for groups.
Bring bug spray as bugs got bad at night.
We thought the water on the river would be by campsite but it was just muddy marsh.
No running water, bathrooms were ok.
No cell service for any carrier in this area.
Go hike corona arch.

Spacious group sites along a the Colorado. Beautiful surroundings with fun hikes and petroglyphs along the road.

The good: Beautiful area and love that there are trails right by camp. The site was clean and in good condition when we arrived. The shade structure is great and much needed as we experienced highs in the 90s during the last week of May.
The Bad: When we arrived there were 5 vehicles parked in our camp spot, blocking one of our group families from setting up their camper there. We figured out later they were on the river and using our camp spot as boat ramp parking. To be fair the signs aren’t very good but they were literally parked right in front of the “Campsite A” sign. I wish there was better signage for parking rules as there is plenty of parking just up from the boat ramp towards the road but its like 40 ft further from the ramp so people seem to help themselves to the closest parking (campsite A). During our 3 day stay, numerous vehicles pulled in and parked in our spot including some foreign men who decided to skinny dip in the river only a few yards from our children. Lastly, $150 / night is really steep. BLM, please clearly mark as parking for campsite only, at least the front of the lot right next to the campsite.

The scenery, river, shade structure and plentiful tent space were all excellent. Due to high water we could launch our raft and float to Potash and we could jump off the rock at camp. Unfortunately both nights we had separate groups partying until morning. There was no camp host so no one was enforcing any rules.

From Moab, drive five miles north on Hwy 191 to the intersection with Hwy 279. Turn left/west on Hwy 279 and drive ten miles to the campground entrance road.

The campground is accessible via US Highway 191, located approximately five miles south and connected to Highway 279, which leads directly to the campground entrance.
