We pulled in around 9:00 p.m with 3 tired kids and someone else was camped in our site. They were not willing to move. There were many other sites available, but it wasn't possible to reserve one immediately due to lack of sufficient phone/ internet service at the campground. I would love to get my money back and I would love for people to not take sites that they haven't reserved.

This site is right next to the pit toilet and it smells AWFUL. My fault for booking it without looking at the map. I couldn't stay the night, the smell was too foul. Ended up dispersed camping nearby and losing my money on the reservation. Other spots at this campground are nice, but don't book site 38!

I like the location. It was nice to be near water and the town of Moab. There were some rowdy groups in the campground. Kids (highschool age) were continuously walking through my site as a shortcut to the lake. One night there was a group doing cookies for hours in the gravel parking lot and then one of their children ran off when it was time to go. There were people yelling in the woods, women wailing crying, and sheriff's searching for hours. If it wasn't for the low class clientele I would have had a better rating. They need someone onsite to keep this stuff in check.

Very nice campsite. Right across from the bathrooms and not too far from the lake. The bathrooms were well maintained—stocked with both toilet paper and hand sanitizer—and were some of the better smelling vault bathrooms I’ve been in. There’s a nice tree that can comfortably shade ~four people in camping chairs, so we didn’t need to pull out our shade shelter. The foot long stakes that we used for our tent were very difficult to drive into the gravel ground. My only concern was that the fire pit was pretty close to a field of dry grass, so we had to keep a close watch on our fire. If you’re interested in hammocking, there’s not a ton of readily available trees, but we didn’t need to find some near the creek after bushwhacking a little bit.

The campground is on gravel, at the end of a gravel road. It would help if the signage were better to determine where the spot is located. Many sites are uneven. We were close to the restroom, which was fine, as expected for the type of campground.
