We rented site 19. We were told the fire pits would have cooking grates. Our site was the only one with the grate missing. Made cooking difficult. Camp host loaned us a grill.

Good location next to moab and near to Arches. Simple but well maintained and good value for the price.

Camp site was great, and the bathrooms were very clean. My reason for 3 stars is that the lake leaves a lot to be desired. Don’t be fooled by the photos, this is a gravel pit with water in it, not a lake that I’d be hanging out at. That being said, the road that runs up behind the rocks and Faux Falls offers amazing views of the Spanish Valley. It’s a good spot if it’s just your base camp.

Upper loop is best. There is a mountain stream and trail running next to the upper loop. Getting to the upper loop of sites can be a challenge for larger, longer RVs because you must drive through a steep wash. It's very easy to bottom out and scrape. The upper loop sites have beautiful views and easy access to the stream trail which leads down to the lake. We stayed 2 nights and the second night the group area was full of rowdy 20 somethings whole partied into the night and made noise. The next morning they were all laying around looking like they had hangovers! HA!
The lower loop is a wide open field that is mixed with the day-use people and it's next to the lake.
