What Guests Are Saying
North Klondike Campground offers a fantastic location with spacious sites, clean facilities, and easy access to biking and hiking trails. Many visitors appreciated the friendly atmosphere and helpful fellow campers, as well as the quality of the campsite amenities. However, there were concerns about the rough access road and overflowing trash, along with some incidents of missing items and a camp host with an inappropriate demeanor. Overall, the campground is highly regarded, with plans for return visits from many guests.

Awesome campground. We had 2 sites reserved and 12 people and lots of room for more. Great location, trail system 1 minute to the campground.

Great campsite with several raised tent pads, picnic tables with covered shelter, and clean pit toilets. Campsite is close to biking trails. Perfect for large groups.

We loved the location, how far apart the sites were and proximity to the bike trails. The only very negative thing was the condition of the dirt road getting to the campground. It was a very long washboard that was worse than any road I've driven over years of doing this. It rattled our truck and camper so badly I worried about things loosening up from the major vibration. All it would have taken was a grader to smooth out the road. If you are going to charge people to dry camp then you owe them a smoother safer drive to the campground. I drove so slowly trying to reduce the vibration and it was still very bad. We were there in October and plan on going back next October. I hope to see an improvement before arriving next year or I'll just go somewhere else. It's ashame because it's a great location other than that.

Overall this was a great place to camp. However, I’d like to caution folks. I set up my tent and had the space for two days. On the second day I went off for a bit and when I returned my camp chair had been taken. I had located it so as not to be blown by wind but someone took it nonetheless. It’s disgraceful that even with a paid reservation that one can’t walk away from their stuff and hope that it will remain in place. Also, there were a number of people camping just outside the campground where there are abundant signs stating NO CAMPING. If people had respect for the BLM and the protections that are in place to preserve this amazing natural wonder for future visitors they wouldn’t so flagrantly violate the rules of the game.

What an incredible location! Easy to find and easy to check in. Bathrooms clean and many to choose from on site. We had winds while we were out and about and a fellow camper went so out of their way and helped save our tent and canopy from blowing away. Loved our experience we will be back.

When you come in off the highway, maps told me and the other vehicle i was with to go left, after crossing train tracks. That was about 2.5 miles. We went right, which was maybe a little over a mile. Follow the signs, takes you to bike trail spots, keep going youll see a campground sign. Self pay with money or qr code. Qr code cost 22. I scanned the qr code to pay for 2 nights, showed up maybe around 7pm and it didnt make me pay for first night. That was lovely. We stayed in site 8. It has the most shade from the hill. Sun went behind it about 6pm which is nice out there with essentially zero shade. 3 vault toiltets throught the sites. Thats it. You get a fire ring and table, tent pads are hard sand, kinda hard to get stakes in without a mallet. Otherwise great. Some ant hills, nothing else bothered us. 3 other campers scattered. Posted up here to get to Arches. Did climb the hill by campsite, got a great view of the mesa and surrounding landscape. And highway.
Only downside, was no water close by, 20 mins away in moab. And the gravel road into the site, the first half of it was terrible washboard. Had to go literally 4mph for about .75 miles.
