Very quiet and relaxing. Although no fault of the campground, extreme temperature made it difficult to enjoy.

My campsite was clean. The bathroom was also clean, plenty of toilet paper.

This site had a interesting layout. It would be easier for smaller tents. It was close enough to the bathroom. Plenty big enough for two full sized trucks to park next to each other. The site is secluded enough that you wouldn't have anyone running through your site to get to the bathroom.

There's partial shade at spot #3 with a restroom close by, but we had an uninvited 2 legged being come into our camp around 0130. Thankfully our dog scared what ever it was off. It's still too hot right now to camp there, we went for Labor day weekend, and there are a ton of ants. I wish we had reserved spot one because it had more shade. The sounds of nature at night were very nice and the stars were gorgeous.

The campsite was in fair condition and in close proximity to water and restrooms. No tree coverage or shade on this site, so be ready for that during warmer months. Great site if you want to hike Oak Grove trail to High Point.

The bathrooms were not clean with green stuff growing in the toilet bowls..it used to be such a nice and pleasant place to be...i really hope they find more resources to maintain the campground.

It was quite, at night. Could see the milky way in the sky.

Absolutely terrible experience. There were fire ants all over the campground. We spoke with other camp guests and they reported the same thing. In fact, a few people told our group they had been bitten multiple times, too.
The campsites were also relatively close to each other so you could easily hear a regular conversation another camp group was having.

Great quiet campground during the week. Weekends another story. Noise and music festival , which is sad for such a nice area. Camp host was polite and kept the area clean. Like I said very quiet and less crowded during the week. Weekends completely opposite.

Pros: Great privacy, lots of water spigots, and clean bathrooms. Cons: Lots of fire ants, bugs, and other animals to watch out for. Very limited shade and will get extremely hot in the summer.
