The campsite was very easy to find on our own. Site 47 was very spacious - plenty of shaded areas during the day and also large treeless areas that was perfect for stargazing at night. You have neighbors but there is a good distance between the sites. There were lots of red ant hills when we went in mid September. There were 2 picnic tables and a fire pit (wood not included). The restrooms and water station are across the way (1 min walk). We could not find any trail entrances except the one where we had to cross the main street near the campground entrance so we decided to walk around the campground loops instead - still very nice.

The site itself is very nice. Right behind the campsite was a stage area where my partner says had an outlet. The flushing toilets were nice and clean with ample toilet paper. We had a water spout on the front of our campsite which our neighbors across from us used because they didn't have one. I didn't mind this, but what I did mind was how they played loud music and partied until 2AM. This was the only part that gave us a bad experience because it kept me up and I couldn't enjoy the sounds of nature. They were also yelling and scream singing, and the girls were crying and throwing up. I wish there was some type of authority/ranger that would drive around and make sure campers aren't this obnoxious.
All in all, I would come here again because the amenities were awesome and the views are nice. Hopefully we'll have better camping neighbors next time.

Stayed on the Ribbonwood Loop. While the flush toilets were convenient, they could have been cleaner. I would almost suggest bringing a cheap toilet brush to clean them yourself your first day.
It also seemed like there was only one trash site, despite what the map says.
Overall, a lot of sites at this campground have a good amount of shade, while others have more sparse foliage, so choose wisely depending on your needs and season.

Beautiful and peaceful nature, but lots of ants and flies. Also, the restroom didn't have wash basin and smeled a lot.

Stayed at site 10. The host was friendly and helpful. Even when the campground was full still found quiet relaxing evening. Not great cell phone reception at our site but closer to the entrance there was. Lots of flies and fire ants. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. Only one time very early in the morning did we notice them out of stock. There are plenty of hikes to do ranging from easy to hard and the town shops have anything you might have forgotten.

Cool campsite, some spots have shade which is nice but other spots there’s no shade. There wasn’t any fire wood available to purchase there so we had to drive to the closest store to get some. Would come back in the cooler months but not during summer
