Beautiful campground right near needles district of Canyonlands! Our tent site was not flat but sufficed for one night of camping. Had a great time scrambling up the hamburger rock in the morning before heading out!

Beautiful sunsets! Only a ten minute drive from the needles district visitors center for water and wifi. The vault toilets were super clean, the campsites were tent friendly, and we had a great time!

Beautiful campground!! I used the Scan & Pay feature on the Recreation.gov App. When paying for campground site, offline, the App pre-populated all my information EXCEPT my Lifetime Senior Pass number, which I had to manually input. My pass was already stored in the App! I had wifi the next day and recieved an email saying my pending campsite payment transaction was completed. BUT, it's now a week later, and the App is still sending notifications that I have a Pending Transaction and I should open the App to complete it??

While was during the shutdown, the pit toilets were in need of servicing. Also the campground itself requires a fee, so it seems the campers in the campground are subsidizing the pit toilets for those campers using the free BLM land..

Great location!! Sites have tables, fire pits, and views of the canyons from the rock. Sites are all dispersed around the rock, the payment/reservation system is a little weird. It’s a combination of first come first serve but also making the reservation once you’re there. Can be a little difficult with limited reception (I was able to get it eventually with T-Mobile), but the sites are great.

Great little campground with fantastic views. Sites have fire pits and picnic tables, there are a few pit toilets nearby and, it's about 10 minutes to the needles entrance and you can fill up on water in the park. Also lots of dispersed camping spots around.

Site 1 was amazing, although it’s tough to find a spot to stake your tent down, there are plenty of boulders/ rocks nearby to secure your tent. It’s 6 miles from the Needles visitor center.
