Nice and quiet to stay at. Disappointed with the upkeep of the campground by the host. They need to trim back the trees and thorn bushes on the road and the campsite. Scratched my trailer and truck due to the overgrowth just driving through the campground and backing the trailer into the campsite. Couldn’t have a campfire due to a fire hazard with low hanging bushes over the pit as well. Let’s trim and clean up the road and campsites a little please.

Even though listed for only one vehicle, campsite 5 was level and large enough to fit my Nissan Xterra, Jayco JayFlight RV, and a compact sedan. The camp host is a wonder lady that was very helpful and friendly, and made us feel welcome. Campsite 5 was clean, grill and fire ring were very usable, and had a nice, flat area under the trees for a large tent. The table was well-worn, but in good condition, and surrounded by a concrete pad, also in good condition. Enough open canopy between the tall trees to see a blinding blanket of stars at night, since it was clear. If you want to go down to the creek, walk south toward the higher-numbered campsites and there will be a dead end road on your right whose gate you can climb over.

This is a beautiful and peaceful camping ground. The majestic ponderosa trees were awesome. We really enjoyed camping there. The campsites were well cared for and so nice.

Beautiful campground! We absolutely love it! Many of the sites are quite secluded. You can hear the creek running at night, crickets, and there are wild turkeys living there. So fun!

This campground was gorgeous. I pretty much had the whole campground to myself as I went in the middle of the week. I recommend sites 18 and 19, 20 and 21, and also 12 and 13 are beautiful and secluded. There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms near 20 and 21 the 3 days I was there and ranger wasn’t around (only saw her on the last day) but that’s okay. Everything else about the place was simply magical.

Great campground with lots of shade. Our campsite (017) was spacious and easily fit our large tent, which made for a very comfortable stay. The bathrooms were clean, and having water available was very convenient. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

It's beautiful. Nice site. National Park latrines were as expected. There is fresh running spring water at various places throughout.
We loved walking around the campground on the paved roads. If you have someone in your group whose mobility is impaired, a nature walk on these roads would be great for wheelchairs, etc...
Just a little way up the road is the Bear Canyon Right Fork Trail, which has some of the most breathtaking views in Utah, in my opinion.
Stay at this campground and see everything Bear Canyon has to offer.

This campground was clean and pretty, but the sites were extremely small. The spot for the tent was right next to the neighbors camper with a generator. Also, the smell was awful. It may have been the toilet which was just across from the site, but it smelled more like dead fish. We ended up leaving. We just could not stay there. I don't recommend this place.
