What Guests Are Saying
Tinney Flat offers a beautiful camping experience with plenty of trees and a creek for enjoyment, making it a hidden gem. The campground host received high praise for being friendly and maintaining cleanliness, although there are issues with overgrown trails, lack of water, and damaged picnic tables. While the campground has seen better days, many visitors express a desire to return, especially if improvements are made.

Camp host was great, bathrooms clean and kept up. Trees on side of roadways in campground need to be trimmed, overhanging and on sides you will get pinstriping. What once was a great campground now is one step above terrible, especially for the money that you pay. Only 2 vault toilets now, the old flush restrooms are locked (no water). Tables need to be repaired or replaced. They have cut down and left so many trees. There is still a lot of shade but with the trees that have been cut and just left you can hardly walk thru the forest. The downed treed need to be removed or cut into smaller pieces so that campers can split and burn the wood in their fire pits. Water needs to be restored and restrooms need to be opened. This just isn't the same campground we have loved for the last 40 years. So depressing.

The road is now fixed and it is not treacherous any more. The most beautiful campground in the world. Everyone stay away so I can have it all by myself 😂

It was a really beautiful campsite. However, there still isn't any water available at the campsite so call beforehand or plan to bring your own water.
The camp host was friendly and helpful (especially about the water, sharing her own with anyone who needed it). The campsite was clean and the creek in the campground was so much fun. We would definitely visit again after water is restored to the site.

The camp host, Alexa, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and did an excellent job maintaining the campground. Our biggest frustration was the water situation here and at other campgrounds in the area. Paying the same amount, or even more than we have in the past, while not having access to running water is very disappointing. It significantly impacts the overall camping experience and makes it difficult to feel that the campground fees are justified.
