The road was paved all the way to my campsite. My regular commuter vehicle had no issues getting there.
The host was friendly. My campsite was marked as reserved under my name. I arrived shortly after check-in and had no issues getting into my site. The campsite was clean except for rocks that were painted by previous campers. My campsite had a picnic table and firepit as shown online. The firepit was shallow with no grill attachments. The site was somewhat small. There was enough parking space for 2 cars/trucks. There was little space between my site and the neighboring sites.
The established bathroom nearest to my site was out of order. Porta-potties were provided in it's place. The room was large and in a relatively clean condition. The toilet paper was stocked. A door lock for the bathroom was present and working. There appeared to be a soap/sanitizer dispenser although I didn't check to see if it was stocked as I'd brought my own sanitizer.
The environment was loud and warm during the start of June with a low of 57°F/13.8°C during my visit. Slept outside of my sleeping bag until about 1am before it got too cold. There were lots of wasps around the campsite would get stuck under my rainfly and one even managed to sneak into my tent. There were no active fire restrictions but the host requested all fires to be small with flames not reaching too high above the top of the pit. The shallow fire pit made this a challenge. There was little to no fallen or dead wood around my site. Since this campground is right next to busy roads you'll hear 4-wheelers and motorcycles driving through from dawn to dusk. It was very noisy. The forest was lush and green. There's quite a lot to do nearby including a few hikes. I packed in all the water I would need so I didn't look for or use a spigot. My cellular provider is Boost Mobile and I had 1-3 bars.
I wasn't a big fan of this campground and likely won't be coming here again.

We had an amazing time here, the camp host was very friendly! Being right next to Stuart cascades was awesome, as we were very active during our stay here. We even had our very own chirpy squirrel who talked to us every time we cooked. We hope to be back here soon.

Hikes were great! The location to many hiking spots was perfect. It was quiet for the most part. Besides it being right off the road.

**Mt Timpanogos Campground — ★★★★★**
We spent two wonderful nights at Mt Timpanogos Campground and couldn't have asked for a better basecamp. The location is fantastic — just minutes from Sundance Resort and the Provo River, with easy access to some genuinely beautiful hiking trails nearby. The campground itself was clean and well-maintained, and our camp host, Sarah, went above and beyond — attentive, helpful, and quick to answer every question we had. This was our 5th year at Mt Timp and we'll definitely be back!

- This Campground is in Bear Country Store food and trash securely to avoid attracting wildlife -Failure to comply may result in fines up to $5,000, and/or removal from your site Remember, a fed bear is a dead bear
- No water available on site; bring all water needed for your stay including drinking water This is a 'pack it in, pack it out' facility; bring trash bags
- Dogs or Domestic Pets Owners must -Control dogs by leash not to exceed six feet (6’) at all times -Clean up dog feces immediately -Limit two dogs per site Do not allow dogs to -Threaten or attack people/animals -Interfere with people, vehicles, or property -Cause damage to vegetation or harass wildlife
- Gates open at 7am, close at 10pm; Camping is allowed only within the designated space provided. Do not go beyond the boundaries of your site; Max occupancy is 8 people per single site; Reserved sites will be held until 12pm the day following your scheduled arrival date; Horses/Off-road vehicles are not allowed in the campground; Leave No Trace; Unclean sites will be reported to the District Ranger LEO; Cleaning fish or bathing where drinking water is supplied is strictly prohibited; Fireworks, discharging of firearms, or other explosives in the campground is not allowed; No boisterous behavior. Be courteous to your fellow visitor. Keep noise at a reasonable level; No amplified music is allowed in USDA Forest Service campgrounds and facilities; Max Vehicle Length includes tow vehicle;
- There is a 2-night minimum stay on weekends; 3-night minimum stay on holiday weekends
- Trailers/Campers and RVs: Come with water tank filled. Hooking up to spigots or the power in the restrooms, even for medical devices is strictly prohibited SR 92 outside the campground has a 30-foot vehicle length restriction; longer vehicles will not be allowed on the road
- First Come First Served (FF) sites For reservable sites, reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance You must claim a FF site in person on the day you wish to check-in A site listed as FF does not guarantee availability, Recreation.gov does not update FF occupancy The only way to know if an FF site is available is to arrive at the campground on the day you plan to check-in Availability cannot be predicted Many sites are in remote locations, we cannot contact hosts about availability Recommended arrival times vary by day. Weekends and holidays typically fill more quickly To claim an FF site, you must be present, occupy the site, and pay at that time
- Extra Vehicle -$10 per vehicle, per day (paid on-site cash/check) Firewood -$9
- If you booked at a discount without a Senior/Access pass, you'll need to pay the difference in cash/check upon arrival. Only Senior/Access passes qualify for discounts and proof of ownership upon arrival is required
- Cancellations within 24 hours prior to arrival date will forfeit the entire use fee and a $10 cancellation fee; No-shows, early departures, or cancellations after the arrival date will not be refunded; Failure to arrive at the site by 12pm the day after scheduled arrival and does not cancel the reservation, will be charged a $20 service fee and forfeit the first-night use fee;
