The campsite was very nice. The lake was nice but pretty muddy along the banks but we still had fun. Also the walk around the lake was pretty.
My least favorite part was the walk to and from the lake. While not too long it was steeper than expected which was less than fun while hauling paddle boards, chairs, and a canopy. I would however still go back.

We love this campground and have been coming here for about 30 years. This year with Covid it is very hard to find an open spot and some campers had to move twice to get three nights up here. The garbage bins were full by Thursday but wre emptied for the weekend. The new toilet swork great if the campers can read and keep the seats closed when the leave.

The campgrounds were well maintained as well as the bathrooms. Our campsite was in a beautiful location and there was ample room between each site. I'd highly recommend Payson Lake as an excellent way to enjoy the outdoors.

How family camp using group camp C was awesome. We appreciate the camp host who was helpful, and kind and all the beautiful scenery around the lakes. A great time.

Great group site B. Walkable to Box lake and really close to Payson lake. Nice FLUSHABLE toilet restroom. We especially liked the cooking areas for dutch ovens, grilling and a fire pit. There was a meadow across the road for the big tens and plenty of parking for the motorhomes and trailers. We had a great time.

Well maintained beautiful campground. We loved the paved walking path around the lake. Only complaint was there was no limit of the amount of cars or people on the lake. Parking in the day use gets too full so cars will go through the campground to park in the campground lake lot. Would have been nice if they monitored the campground entrance so day use groups did not take up all the space. Probably great during the week but the weekend was a MAD HOUSE of fishermen, kayaks, paddle boards and canoes.

Love this campground. Camp sites are well taken care of, and have lots of shade. The camp hosts are excellent! The Lake is great, and we have a blast every time we come!
