We had a great experience. The lake was wonderful for fishing and paddle boarding with our kids. The camp sites were clean & the bathrooms well kept. The camp worker was friendly. The only downside was that the trash dumpster was full.

We loved camping at Payson Lakes! It is a gorgeous area. Campsite & bathrooms met expectations. We loved walking around Big East Lake in the evening. I will definitely look into coming again.

The hosts are great, the bathrooms were as clean as vault toilets can be and the spot was really nice.

Absolutely loved this place! We were very impressed with our groupsite (we booked groupsite C). So much space for the kids to play, LOTs of tables, multiple fire places -main one is huge). Our only complaint was that it was where cars had to pull through to turn around if they made a wrong turn. Maybe better signs could be placed to avoid cars coming that direction on accident as much. Aside from that, the lake is stunning! Fishing was really great. Walking around the lake on a paved trail was so nice. Ideal for strollers and our young kids to ride their bikes and scooters around it. We will be back!

This spot here was absolutely amazing. We had about 8 people in our group and it was very spacious. 4 Tents really fit comfortably. 4 vehicle's fit in the driveway.
I would absolutely bought this spot if I could. 😂😂 10/10. 👍🥰
Besides that the entire Payson Lake area was absolutely astonishing!
Do it, doooo it, dooooo IT.

The map shows C10 as being on the south side of the road where the pull through site is, but it is actually on the north side of the road where there is a back in. Fortunately, the site is angled well and it was not hard to back in, and we had enough space, but could be a problem for someone else. Trailer 28'. Truck 20' parked partly under the 5th wheel trailer overhang.

We didn’t get in the lake due to the algae bloom which was a bummer but there was a lot to do anyways! We hiked nearby and walked around the lake. Our family camps a lot and the bathrooms in this campground are the CLEANEST of any campground I’ve ever been to. Everything is well maintained the roads are nice and the trees keep everything a little cooler.
