Poor experience. When we arrived to the campsite we reserved online a few weeks beforehand, another group was in our site set up with a tent, even though there was a sign at the site stating only those with reservations may occupy the site. The group refused to move from the site we paid for. There was no patrol or camp host working at the campground to assist with this issue.

The spots are nice. The desert has a unique beauty. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. Everyone kept the area clean and packed out all of their individual garbage. Very nice.

Awesome place to camp but the road to get there is so washboarded that max speed is 10 mph while pulling a trailer.

From I-80, take exit 199 (Tooele) and travel south on Highway 36 for approximately 40 miles. Turn right onto the Pony Express Road and travel for approximately 25 miles. The campground is approximately 12 miles south of Dugway, Utah, on the Pony Express Road.
