we had lots 28 and 29, in lot 29 the picnic table is inches from a drop off into the stream. Very dangerous for small children and adults. My grandbaby dropped her stuffed animal and it rolled down the drop off into the stream and she was devastated. Lot 28 has several large awkward shaped bolders around the camp fire ring making it impossible to use lawn chairs around the fire and the rocks arent really level to sit on. Other than that, it was a wonderful camping experience. Very clean, and its nice to have cleared areas for tents.

I stayed at site 23. It was great being next to the river, it was beautiful, and cool. It really would drown out most of the sound around you and was quite relaxing. The campground was clean, and just overall quite nice. I would stay here again.

This is a great place close to SLC. You feel like you are way up in the mountains, but you aren't. It is quiet place and very peaceful.

The new camp hosts are great, but so was Kirk the previous year. George and Rae were also great, but the hosts between them and Kirk were intrusive and abusive. They had a fit over our niece's service dog with tags and documentation, and they charged an extra parking fee if visitors were there for more than an hour. Very rude, nosy, and Gestapo like...just so you know.

Thanks for the refund after the big canyon mudslide.

We LOVE Tanner's Flat!!!

The campground is nice, but we had the worst campsite there. No flat spots for the rent and we heard cars coming and going all night.

Best outdoor camping experience one can have. Only 12 min up the canyon from Sandy UT. Clean campground with clean restrooms conveniently situated. Nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the roaring creek. And sitting by the creek lost in the ambiance of the water streaming along. I don't want anybody to know about this sacred spot because it has been so dear to us many , many years. Campspot always clean. Camp hosts friendly and helpful....and respectful of your privacy. Don't camp here...we want it for ourselves!

We were in group site B with 18 people in multiple tents. We loved the closeness to bathrooms and water, the group fire pit with the picnic tables around it so there was seating for everyone. There were four large picnic tables plus a serving table so plenty of space to leave out crafts and games during meals. There was also a pile of large rocks and boulders that kept the children entertained for hours. And the volleyball court was also just through the trees. It was very private and we will most likely go back!
