What Guests Are Saying

Diamond Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with clean facilities, friendly hosts, and beautiful natural surroundings. Many guests enjoyed the well-maintained trails, spacious sites, and proximity to the river, making it suitable for families and outdoor activities. However, some concerns were raised regarding the presence of cows, occasional noise disturbances, and the need for better maintenance from camp hosts.

Really great place to camp. Clean bathrooms that smelled nice which is odd for a pit toilets. Water was out why we were there, apparently someone hit or ran over something and broke a pipe. We filled up across the main highway at the brand new state park in case there was no water..
Been burned to many times. Very quite and very clean in the whole camp ground. Definitely come back here. No wifi or cell service so starlink if you need access.

We had some rain at our event, but the large pavilion allowed us to hang out and socialize. The Camp Host was great. She was super nice and helpful. It's a beautiful spot along the river.

Diamond Campground has been one of our favorite places to camp for many years. However, it has become increasingly annoying that they allow cattle to freely roam through the campsite. This year, the host disappeared for 3 days, so there wasn't even anyone to tell about the cows. Still rated a 4 though and hope someone responds to the cow problem.

The experience was great with one exception. They need to repair the door lock in many of their bathrooms. Spoke with the camp host. She has repeatedly tried to get them replaced, but so far has had no luck.

Really wanted to love this place but it was a little disappointing. Campsite were nice and flat and not too close to each other. Had well maintained shade structures, fire pit, tables, and even a stand for a camp stove. Our disappointment came from thinking we were going to be more in the mountains and have a respite from the heat, however, this was not the case. It was more like rolling hills. It was hot and wasps had taken over most of the shade structures. We may have had a better experience in one of the wooded areas but had to have open space for solar. I would say it was a good campground but for the cooler months.
