Lovely place. The only negative was that when we arrived someone had taken our campsite and the campground host was not around. Otherwise the campsite that we ended up in was clean, quiet and enjoyable.

We got a really private double site which was wonderful. The campground was very green and right by the river. The "discovery trail" that loops around the campground was very fun for the kids! The campground was very clean, including the bathrooms!

Very pretty scenery, unpleasant host that really put a damper on our family outing. Within minutes of getting there, while still unpacking, the host came and chastised us for not having our dog on a leash. I totally understand, and that rule is posted, but I would expect him to talk to us a little more friendly about it. Personally, if I were the host, I wouldn't bring it up with anybody unless their dog was causing issues, which our dog wasn't. Then we started gathering dead wood for the campfire and the host came over and told us we weren't allowed to burn any wood from the area. Is that really the rule? I didn't see that on the website. If it is a rule, I would suggest putting it on the website so campers can plan ahead. He said the only options are to bring our own wood from home or buy the wood from him. I showed him the rule from the website that you're not supposed to bring your own wood. He said he had never heard of that rule before. Anyway, his interactions with my family were very unpleasant and unexpected. I wouldn't recommend going there, especially if you have young children that are sensitive to confrontational situations.

Diamond is a beautiful area! The river had areas we could play in and cool off, the campground was nice. The only downside was the amount of space between our camp/ firepit and the neighboring firepit. But we'll be back for sure!

There was constant ATV, dirt bike, and motorcycle traffic on my loop the entire time we were there. A family (or group of families) would circle the loop on these motor vehicles for hours. The motorcycle was ridden by an adult with a child in their lap, while the other vehicles were ridden by a combination of adults and children. I am surprised that the camp host did not say anything to them, especially since the motorcycle was quite loud (might have been a Harley-Davidson) and I thought there were not supposed to be ATVs or dirt bikes at the camp.

From I-15, take exit 258 and turn east toward Spanish Fork Canyon. Continue up Spanish Fork Canyon for about 9 miles to Forest Road 029/Diamond Fork Canyon. Turn left into Diamond Fork Canyon and travel 6 miles northeast to campground.

Policies & Rules
General
- This Campground is in Bear Country Always store food and trash securely to avoid attracting wildlife -Failure to comply may result in fines up to $5,000, removal from your campsite and/or imprisonment Remember, a fed bear is a dead bear; your actions can save lives
- This is a 'pack it in, pack it out' facility; bring trash bags
- Dogs or Domestic Pets Owners must -Control the dog by a leash not to exceed six feet (6’) at all times -Clean up dog feces immediately -Limit two dogs per campsite Do not allow dogs to -Tthreaten or attack people/animals -Interfere with people, vehicles, or property -Cause damage to vegetation or harass wildlife
- Gates open at 7am, close at 10pm. Camping is allowed only within the designated space provided. Do not go beyond the boundaries of your site. Max occupancy is 8 people per single site. Reserved campsites will be held until 12pm on the day following your scheduled arrival date. Horses/Off-road vehicles are prohibited in the campground. Leave No Trace. Put all trash in dumpsters, if provided, or properly stored in your vehicle or bear box. Remove all personal property and trash when leaving. Unclean campsites will be reported to the District Ranger LEO. Leaving food/trash in an unoccupied campsite may result in a $5,000 fine. Cleaning fish, animals, or bathing where drinking water is supplied is strictly prohibited. Fireworks or other explosives are prohibited. Discharging of a firearm in the campground is not allowed. No fighting or boisterous behavior. Be courteous to your fellow visitor. Keep noise at a reasonable level. No amplified music is allowed in USDA Forest Service campgrounds and facilities. People come to the campgrounds for peace and quiet.
- There is a 2-night minimum stay on weekends; 3-night minimum stay on holiday weekends
- Trailers/Campers and RVs: Come with water tank filled. Hooking up to spigots or the power in the restrooms, even for medical devices is strictly prohibited
- First Come First Served (FF) sites For reservable sites, reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance You must claim a FF site in person on the day you wish to check-in A site listed as FF does not guarantee availability, Recreation.gov does not update FF occupancy The only way to know if an FF site is available is to arrive at the campground on the day you plan to check-in Availability cannot be predicted Many sites are in remote locations, we cannot contact hosts about availability Recommended arrival times vary by day. Weekends and holidays typically fill more quickly To claim an FF site, you must be physically present, occupy the site, and pay at that time There is no waiting list for FF sites
- Extra Vehicle -$10 per vehicle, per day (paid on-site cash/check) Firewood -$9
- If you booked at a discount without a Senior or Access pass, you'll need to pay the difference in cash/check upon arrival. Only Senior or Access passes qualify for discounts and proof of ownership upon arrival is required
- Please understand that camping is an outdoor experience; we do not give refunds or credits for weather or natural conditions Cancellations within 24 hours prior to arrival date will forfeit the entire use fee and a $10 cancellation fee No-shows, early departures, or cancellations after the arrival date are not entitled to a refund Failure to arrive at the campsite by 12pm the day after scheduled arrival and does not cancel the reservation, will be charged a $20 service fee and forfeit the first-night use fee
