Loved this campground! So much for the kids to do. Lots of shade and the sites are a really good size. Would have been nice if the other dog owners followed the “Dogs must be leashed” policy. Overall it was great and we will be returning!!

Gorgeous campground, really well maintained by the camp host. It's a great place for families. Loop A is mostly shaded (site A18 has no shade from trees FYI), Loop B has no shaded areas, and it does get hot during the summer. The sites nearest to the creek are great (sites A18-A22); the creek is fairly shallow this time of year, but does have a strong current in some spots. You can do some tubing. Definitely bring a chair, so that you can sit in the water and enjoy it with a nice beverage. No issues with bears during our stay, but there was a raccoon who was quite skilled at opening boxes and bags. There is some road noise from trucks and other vehicles driving on the frontage road and going over the cattle guards. The bathrooms were clean, as was the water spigot. Overall, we all really enjoyed our stay and are hoping to make an annual trip to Diamond.

Wonderful spot during our national park tour. Easily accessible, fair enough from the highway to not hear any noises. Great view of the sky, easy access to the river. Bathrooms were clean, host was awesome. Local livestock were entertaining. Can't wait to stay again.
One thing to note, the fire pits were all brand new large concrete cylinders and were AMAZING.

Great perimeter learning trail for kids. Good size, level spots. It would be a hands down five starts would've been hook ups. Well maintained and clean.

Overall an okay, but disappointing experience.
The campground hosts were fine. Neither exceptional nor bad. Not super-friendly, but cordial enough.
Although we had made a reservation well in advance, when we arrived our site was already occupied. We were informed that there were problems with the reservation system. We were offered alternatives, one of which was okay, but not as good as the site we had made a reservation for.
We accepted one of the available sites and were told we'd be given a refund for one of the nights we had reserved. I won't be holding my breath for that refund.
The campground, overall, was in a good orderly condition. Although, the area was wtihin the grazing area of a herd of cows, so there was plenty of cow dung in various spots. We had to clear our site of a few cow pies.
The bathrooms were well maintained and about as clean as one can hope for.
The river is nice, but again, plenty of cows in the area, so plenty of cow dung by the riverbanks.

Diamond Campground is a very beautiful place. We stayed in a mostly covered tree area and it was perfect for the summer heat! We had teenagers with us and they loved the accessible river not so far away from our campsite. We would stay here again!

From I-15, take exit 258 and turn east toward Spanish Fork Canyon. Continue up Spanish Fork Canyon for about 9 miles to Forest Road 029/Diamond Fork Canyon. Turn left into Diamond Fork Canyon and travel 6 miles northeast to campground.

16 mi drive to downtown Spanish Fork (about 24 min)
Policies & Rules
General
- This Campground is in Bear Country Always store food and trash securely to avoid attracting wildlife -Failure to comply may result in fines up to $5,000, removal from your campsite and/or imprisonment Remember, a fed bear is a dead bear; your actions can save lives
- This is a 'pack it in, pack it out' facility; bring trash bags
- Dogs or Domestic Pets Owners must -Control the dog by a leash not to exceed six feet (6’) at all times -Clean up dog feces immediately -Limit two dogs per campsite Do not allow dogs to -Tthreaten or attack people/animals -Interfere with people, vehicles, or property -Cause damage to vegetation or harass wildlife
- Gates open at 7am, close at 10pm. Camping is allowed only within the designated space provided. Do not go beyond the boundaries of your site. Max occupancy is 8 people per single site. Reserved campsites will be held until 12pm on the day following your scheduled arrival date. Horses/Off-road vehicles are prohibited in the campground. Leave No Trace. Put all trash in dumpsters, if provided, or properly stored in your vehicle or bear box. Remove all personal property and trash when leaving. Unclean campsites will be reported to the District Ranger LEO. Leaving food/trash in an unoccupied campsite may result in a $5,000 fine. Cleaning fish, animals, or bathing where drinking water is supplied is strictly prohibited. Fireworks or other explosives are prohibited. Discharging of a firearm in the campground is not allowed. No fighting or boisterous behavior. Be courteous to your fellow visitor. Keep noise at a reasonable level. No amplified music is allowed in USDA Forest Service campgrounds and facilities. People come to the campgrounds for peace and quiet.
- There is a 2-night minimum stay on weekends; 3-night minimum stay on holiday weekends
- Trailers/Campers and RVs: Come with water tank filled. Hooking up to spigots or the power in the restrooms, even for medical devices is strictly prohibited
- First Come First Served (FF) sites For reservable sites, reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance You must claim a FF site in person on the day you wish to check-in A site listed as FF does not guarantee availability, Recreation.gov does not update FF occupancy The only way to know if an FF site is available is to arrive at the campground on the day you plan to check-in Availability cannot be predicted Many sites are in remote locations, we cannot contact hosts about availability Recommended arrival times vary by day. Weekends and holidays typically fill more quickly To claim an FF site, you must be physically present, occupy the site, and pay at that time There is no waiting list for FF sites
- Extra Vehicle -$10 per vehicle, per day (paid on-site cash/check) Firewood -$9
- If you booked at a discount without a Senior or Access pass, you'll need to pay the difference in cash/check upon arrival. Only Senior or Access passes qualify for discounts and proof of ownership upon arrival is required
- Please understand that camping is an outdoor experience; we do not give refunds or credits for weather or natural conditions Cancellations within 24 hours prior to arrival date will forfeit the entire use fee and a $10 cancellation fee No-shows, early departures, or cancellations after the arrival date are not entitled to a refund Failure to arrive at the campsite by 12pm the day after scheduled arrival and does not cancel the reservation, will be charged a $20 service fee and forfeit the first-night use fee
