Such a beautiful park!!!! I only stayed for one night, but it was excellent. The spots are right next to the red cliffs so it made for a very dramatic beautiful location. Spots included a nice covered picnic table, BBQ pit and water. The bathrooms were close by. The hiking trails couldn't be any closer. The sunset over the cliffs was beautiful, as was the view from the top down to the valley below. My particular spot didn't get cell phone reception, but I had a signal nearby and in some of the other spots and the nearby parking area.

This is a very nice campground, with two excellent hikes that we did. The dinosaur tracks are very interesting, and walking up the canyon is spectacular.

Lovely spot backed by red sandstone cliffs, with sites spaces around an ephemeral ,cottonwood lined stream. Protected from the noise of the 15 Freeway. Hiking trails from the campsite lead to a historic settler home and dinosaur tracks. A little campsite gem, easy driving distance to St George, and Snow Valley State Park. Thankyou BLM!

Site #8 was fantastic! Enjoyed the multiple hikes that are there. We didn’t have our gravel bikes with us, but some trails would have made a fun ride. Next time.

I had campsite #2. I didn’t realize that you can’t access it with your vehicle. So just know that. I have a vw weekender van and a 70lb disabled dog, so she couldn’t make it up the 14 cement steps to access the campsite. There was a reserved parking place for #2 campsite in the middle of the parking lot. So that was my camp. The parking lot. I didn’t stay the planned second night. I guess I just didn’t look at site description closely enough.
