It's been a fav spot for decades. Nothing matches the deep red soaring canyon walls, the joy of cold potholes of water on a hot day, the sound of a canyon wren and the famous person who lived and died here (Gerald Grimmett). And so much more!

Absolutely loved that each camp site had their own spigot, as well as a man-made pavilion over the picnic tables, super super helpful in the middle of the day when it gets extremely hot!

Nice campground amidst fantastic scenery. Hard to believe you’re only 1.5 miles from I15. Campground is well maintained with many fresh water spigots. Be sure to get a reservation. It’s popular. Great hikes in the area.

Excelent. My only bad review is that the Water seamos not to be potable. Also, the faucet in my site was broken

Beautiful location. Definitely must be within the size restrictions to go here! Glad we checked. Loved having water at each of the sites. There was so much natural beauty to explore; we had a great time.

We were at campsite 6 which was quite nice. The campsites are close together but we had a little foliage for pseudo-privacy. Very nice hiking nearby. The pit toilets were quite clean.

Site 4 was good for car camping or an RTT, but the tent site was right next to the car at the next site. No shade coverage like other sites, but right next to the red rocks, so morning light comes in slowly. It looks like the smallest of all sites from the walk around. It was perfect for solo traveling with a RTT.
