You have to register and pay online but there is no cell service at the campsite. You have to hang around the visitor's center to get anything done. But the visitor center staff cannot book for you. So if you have a cell phone without web service and a .gov account there is no way to get a campsite.
The restrooms were clean and warm

Beautiful in the cool and uncrowded off-season. And, the pies are amazing! Nice to have generator-free camping loops. The surrounding sandstone cliffs are a glowing backdrop to camping by the soothing Fremont River where mule deer come out of the orchard to drink in the evening. I’m grateful for the opportunity to camp here.

Lovely fall visit.
Bit of a hassle to return to visitor center to use Wi-Fi to reserve/register.
