One of my favorite trails in the Uintas. We did two mid week nights in July; weather was between 70’s and 40’s, mosquito burden was high, and crowds were low. Difficulty was moderate. Fishing was decent, fly and clear bubble did best, we got skunked using spinners. Naturalist Basin is gorgeous, with plenty of exploring to do around the Basin. A must do. Make sure to visit Shaler Lake for a day hike.
