What Guests Are Saying
Westwater Campground offers a beautiful setting and convenient access to the river, making it ideal for outdoor activities. While the single camping spots are not well marked and the vault toilets could use improvement, they are generally cleaned regularly. The staff, including Rangers Bob and Ben, are praised for their helpfulness and professionalism, enhancing the overall experience.

This place stinks. No one should come here.

Had reserved site no.10 here but switched over to the first-come-first-served site (no. 3) on arrival day, which is right next to the river. Didn’t have to pay extra as told by the park ranger so I was super happy with my stay here!

Beautiful place to camp, we went with the reserved spots. They are awesome, the long grass is mowed down so you can set up tents and move around the site. There was room for 3-4 medium- large tents on our site (10). The first come first serve sites are along the water and the reserved spots are a little further away. The bathrooms were clean, the only problem we had was the bugs. The mosquitos were insane, and the flies were out of control. Overall we loved the campground and enjoyed the passing trains would definitely recommend!

A great place off the beaten path. Very clean bathrooms, nice site with a covered table, and a nice place to launch a raft. There are, however, a lot of mosquitoes.
