Semi-primitive camping. No real amenities other than pit toilet(s). Great place to relax and get close to nature.

Awesome 1st time there! Last weekend of camping season. We stayed for 1 night and it rained so out of the 5 campsites reserved, only 2 of us showed. Very quiet and clean! Will definitely be back to visit next year for at least a couple days stay!

What a wonderful campsite! We had a great time here. We reserved site 8 and it was perfect, the shelter came in handy when rain settled in for one of the nights. We walked all around the pond and down to the reservoir and it was beautiful. It was about a 0.5 mile walk in, but the trails were so well maintained and easy to navigate. The bathroom at the parking lot was so clean (and even had toilet paper) and there were 2 brand new outhouses closer to the campsites that were also super clean. The water pump does work (just requires a bit more patience than you would think and is a two person job as you also need to hold the silver part up). Overall a wonderful experience - would recommend to anyone, especially families.

We stayed on Site 9 (water site). We had a great time camping, hiking and kayaking. The nights were chilly (35 degrees).

Beautiful campgrounds. Clean and quiet. There is a hike in, but the trail is actually well maintained and wide so lots of people has wagons.

We thoroughly enjoyed camping here with our two little girls at the end of September. We had campsite number 1. It was a little hike but the path was pretty smooth and my husband was able to use a wheelbarrow to haul all our stuff in. We were glad we had brought kayaks to enjoy the lake even more. There was a porta pot just across the trail from our campsite. We were here beginning of the week and didn't see a lot of people.

We were 5 touring cyclists tent camping. Site # 15 was completely unsuitable for tent camping, no level grass area and large traprock gravel. Site #16 was marginal, and some campers had to wild camp in the woods just to find a flat pitch. I don't understand why tent camping isn't allowed in the large grassy field currently for day use only.
