North Hartland Lake Beach (VT)

This space provided everything we were hoping for in regards to hosting our celebration of life.
The pavilion offered shade and cover in the event of inclement weather.
The bathrooms and playground are all relatively close which was excellent. The property was well kept and spaced out in a way that allowed ample room for our caterer.
Walking down to the dam was beautiful.
It was peaceful to have a moment to sit by the water and enjoy some of Vermont’s natural beauty. There are a few walking trails, a volleyball net, a picnic table as well as horsw shoe pits.
We would recommend this space for any gathering big or small.
Thank you to all who help maintain the land and dam.

We have used the area every year for a family reunion. Every thing is always clean

Area was very clean and nice. Great play area for the kids and restrooms were very close. Great place for a wedding shower !

We used the largest pavilion for a company event recently and it was wonderful! A welcoming and open space with enough coverage over the tables for most of us to get away from the sun when it was too much. The onsite ranger is always so helpful and pleasant. It's our second year using the Hartland Dam as the destination for our annual company bbq and it was perfect! We'll be back again.

My family reunion was at the large shelter on the left and we enjoyed it immensely. The charcoal grills were on a concrete pad in front of the shelter making it perfect for serving. There were plenty of tables for all of us. The kiddos enjoyed the playground and swimming. For a large group the large shelter was perfect.

Great place to have a group gathering. Pavilion provides shelter from weather , rain,sun, etc..

We held my daughter’s first birthday here at the small shelter.
I loved the location- bathrooms and playground were right across the parking lot. The beach/ water access was a short walk and even shorter drive down the road. The charcoal grill was large and accommodated all the food we needed for 35 people!
It worked out excellently! Would recommend and would definitely come back.
One thing I can say is- you want to put the address as North Hartland Lake, not North Hartland Dam recreation area. That leads to an odd closed off fence about 8 mins away.

Ample amounts of space for kids to play. Clean pavilion and bathroom. I will not hesitate to rent the area again for future events!
