Awesome place to take my 2 year old son!right down the road from our house!! Our last camp of the year was last weekend, we left cool painted rocks! We had a blast can’t wait till next year!

The staff was terrific!! The layout was horrible. Rather shocked being it was a Corp of Engineers campground. DO NOT bring a long 5th wheel to the south campground. It's a nightmare and the sites are lower than the road and you will drag. That is if you can make the sharp turn with a cliff wall onto the narrow one lane bridge to get to the campsites. Beautiful place aside to the layout.

We've stayed here twice. It's a well-run campground. Clean restrooms. Well-marked walking trails. Lots of other hiking and biking to do in the area. Both times we've stayed, there have been BIG groups near us -- many of the sites are located on a long grassy area so folks can reserve several together and have a family reunion or whatever. Can get noisy. Sites right on the river tend to get crowded and noisy as well. Pick a more remote site if you want quiet! Other than that, a lovely spot.

From Manchester, Vermont, travel east on Vermont Route 11 for 5 mi. Turn right onto Vermont Route 30 continue for 9 mi towards Rawsonville. Turn left onto Route 100 and continue for an additional 2.5 mi. Turn right onto Winhall Station Road and follow for 1 mi to the campground entrance station.
Winhall Brook Camping Area is accessible via Vermont Route 30 and Vermont Route 100. It is located approximately 5 miles from Vermont Route 11.
