Winhall Brook Camping Area has received praise for its stunning natural beauty, spacious and clean campsites, and friendly, helpful staff. The renovated bathhouses and well-maintained facilities contribute to a pleasant camping experience, with many visitors appreciating the peaceful environment and access to nearby hiking trails and swimming spots. Some guests noted issues with shower pressure and site proximity, but overall, the campground is highly recommended, especially after its recovery from flooding.

Campground is always clean and beautiful. Beautiful spot for hiking and enjoying the outdoors. Kids also had a blast with the river and paved roads for riding their bikes and scooters.

This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds in all of New England. Large, grassy, mostly sunny sites with close access to river swimming and gentle hiking and trail biking along the West River Rail Trail. Peaceful, very quiet. Oh yeah, free showers!
