We had a blast at our baby shower bbq! Park was clean, bathrooms were super close and we had plenty of trash cans for clean up.

Fort Hunt Park is a favorite neighborhood destination park with excellent facilities and where nature abounds. The pavilions are perfect for parties of larger groups with tons of space to spread out or to gather under one shelter. The park staff is responsive and friendly, and the facilities are well maintained.

I reserved a pavilion at Fort Hunt Park for a family gathering. Most of us had not seen each other in over 2 years due to the Pandemic. Fort Hunt served as a central location. The space was sufficient, and we were blessed with excellent weather! The park ranger gave me a call the day before to ensure we were good to go and also inform me about an earlier event at the park in case I arrived early and ran into any road closures. The process, from reservation to celebration, was a breeze. The park ranger also stopped by the day of the event to make sure everything was as expected. Highly recommend Fort Hunt Park!

Well-maintained pavillion. Daniel was an engaged and helpful staff member. The restrooms adjacent to area E need updating.

We have been going to Fort Hunt for a couple of years now for our company picnic. Everyone had a wonderful time. This was the first year we had rain but the pavilion was large enough and I brought enough activities to do undercover (although some kids still played out in the rain), everyone still had a great time.
