Daniel is the best! He has taken care of our large group of 225+ people two year in a row! The facility was just what we were hoping for (and expected after the previous visit).

The picnic site was immaculate, with plenty of trash cans, and the ranger came and greeted us and answered questions as promised. We had a wonderful day!

This place was awesome. This was my family’s first family reunion gathering hosted in Virginia. Everyone love the place, privacy and bathrooms clean. Everyone had a blast. Lots of space.

Staff and facilities great we love it there. Please fix the power issues at Pavilion A. We arrived and the power was tripped. 1/2 through our show the power went out. Luckily we got it back on without damaging our sensitive equipment and months of rehearsals leading up to the event. We love Fort Hunt, poor power is very risky to our shows that we rehearsal 4 months for, sensative equipment as well as safety for the children on stage. Looking forward to partnering again next year.

We rented shelter A for an event in mid September. We appreciated that it had convenient bathrooms (fairly clean and stocked) and a playground nearby. Unfortunately, the flies and bees were a big pest from the beginning, and became even worse when we got the food out. There were wasp nests hanging in the shelter, which left me wondering why they weren't knocked down before the reservation. The condition of the shelter could use some TLC, with many posts damaged and in need of repair. Overall though, it was a good experience and we would return.
