Goose Point campground offers a beautiful, peaceful setting with stunning views of the lake and well-maintained facilities. It was not clear nor obvious that the water spigots at each campground was going to be turned off of cold weather. Ditto, Ditto, Ditto for the dump station. Temperatures had been in the 50 and 60's all week and I think got to 31 only once that week.

Beautiful, clean, quiet (November). This was our first camping trip and a great experience. The volunteer was very nice and welcoming!

We love this campground and have stayed here many times. FYI: The current wording on the website sounds like water at the dumpstation is turned off for the winter, but it does not say anything about the drains being locked shut. We had to pay $10 to dump at Camping World after our stay.
I still gave five stars because the facility is always very well managed, bathrooms are spotless, the location is beautiful, and it seems to attract a quiet, family-type crowd where we feel safe.

Enjoyed our Holiday at Goose Point. Leaves had turned colors which made it great. Just had a good time relaxing.

Stayed here for 2 nights, the location is wonderful, many sites front the lake, which could be rather cold, although they provide such lovely surroundings. Waking up to sunrise over the water, as the cold air turned to mist over the warmer water was pretty spectacular. Each site was comfortable, we had a fire ring, picnic table, and a full hook-up, although water at each site was turned off (end of November), water was still available a few hundred feet away. The site volunteers were wonderful, former park rangers, bathrooms were very clean, firewood was available and there were dumpsters to leave our trash on the way out. This is a very family-friendly campground, there were a good deal of kids riding their bikes around at all hours, so if you are planning to sleep in, this may not be the spot.

Even though it was cold, we had a great time. It was a group of 25 that went, and we had a blast. Only downfall was we were told there'd be a dumpstation available but it wasn't. We were advised that there would be no water except at the bathhouse, so we prepared for that. But the view of the lake was absolutely beautiful with the fall colors!!
