We stayed here the middle of October and had a great time . The staff was very friendly and helpful , other campers were friendly and all but one couple with three children were quite and courteous . The roads in are as bad as they say but drive carefully cause its worth the trip .

Goose Point is an excellent location. The lake is very interesting with many coves along the shoreline to explore. Most sites heavily shaded.
It could be difficult to maneuver larger rigs/trailers on some of the sites. The lower branch of the area has many sites on the water. Site 16 is small but has a great unobstructed view east. In the Summer it could be warm/hot in the early morning. The shade would come as the day moves on.
There is a boat ramp nearby. The bathrooms are clean with 2 showers.
The dump station is on a slight incline. Dumping may not be 100%. Depends on your configuration.

I camped out in a small tent here. I enjoyed the beautiful view of Lake Philpott. The restrooms and showers were closeby. The showers have hot water and good water pressure. I thought the squirrels eating acorns nearby were very cute. I would recommend this campground for individuals or families.

The whole experience was perfect. The drive up and over the mountain to get to Goose Point is gorgeous and being on a peninsula gives you amazing views for both sunrise and sunset. The staff was kind and helpful as well. This will be my camping area for years to come. Thank you!

As with any other COE campground we've had the pleasure of staying in, Goose Point was wonderful. We will surely return!
However, this was the first time we were presented with a "pull-through" site that was not suitable for our rig. It was much too short. We were staying just one night (unfortunately) and didn't want to have to detach our Toad. Our site number was 26. We are a 32' class C with a toad on a car dolly. Much too large for this site.
Having said this... Goose Point is another terrific COE campground. We have not been to one that we would not return to!

Nicest campground we’ve ever camped in by far. Sites are spacious, level, and spread out. Restroom/shower rooms were always clean. Gate personnel were very pleasant and welcoming. Drive to bottom of the dam was worth it. Visitors center and observation area overlooking dam was nice.
