We love Goose Point, it’s so beautiful, safe and clean, everything is natural. They are rarely full but always sold out at the bottom campground. The water is so clean, its a great place to take your boat, kayak, canoe or pontoon because there is not heavy water traffic. There are great rocks to jump off across the lake and wonderful swimming and fishing holes. It’s the perfect place for beginners and kids to learn water sports. They usually have firewood for sale at the checkin area for an affordable price. Most sites are shaded and private. It’s very well patrolled by park rangers, volunteers and Patrick County Sheriff’s Office. Everyone is friendly, never feel like a stranger there even though there are many regulars - they take pride in the campground.

Beautiful area and campground. Large sites. The bathhouse on our loop could have used pressure wash was only issue. Booker T Washington Memorial site is about an hour north and we enjoyed a visit there.

Absolutely gorgeous campground. I had a spot right on the water. Great place to enjoy paddle boarding and kayaking. Gorgeous sunrise. I will definitely go back.

Beautiful campground with friendly and helpful staff.
....BUT bathrooms are broken down, specifically the shower stalls. I'm the men's shower a pair of vise grips was attached to the diverter (and taped together to discourage removal) because the actual handle was broken. I was glad they were there but the diverter needed to be fixed. Also, the handheld shower head was cracked and leaked - shot a steam of water out the back).
The women's showers were worse. The handicap stall was out of order the entire time we were there (almost 2 weeks) and there was no door on the other stall for several days.
Fortunately, they were cleaned regularly, though it wasn't clear what the schedule for that was and it seemed to change by the day.

It is a well kept campground. Bathrooms are clean and so are the grounds. It has a swimming area and a boat ramp. A playground for the little ones. A walking path that leads to an amphitheater and a dock for fishing off of. Great place for the whole family.

Always a good time at Goosepoint awesome beach close to loop c. Good views of sunset and sunrise only complain that I have is and when I put down for two cars and I’ll come in ahead of the second car I leave a pass for the second car, but for some reason they claimed they don’t have it and charge my second car to come in
