We stayed in the upper campground. Spacious and reasonably level sites. Very clean and well kept. Note there are no lake views from the upper campground. If you want lakefront, camp in the lower campground.
If you are over 29 feet or if your trailer/Class C/Class A rides low then you are very likely to scrape on the multiple tight turns to access either campground

If you're looking for a place to haul your water toys to, or you want a beach front area to bring grandkids to, you'll love this campground! The surrounding waterways were busy with jet skis, motor boats, and pontoon boats during the weekend, and the beach was crowded with swimmers. By the time the stars came out Sunday night things quieted down to just campers and the occasional small boat angler. Make sure to run over to nearby Fairystone State Park and try finding some elusive fairystones. Great jumping off spot to tour Floyd, Mabry Mill and Meadows of Dan, and Blue Ridge Music Center.

What a find! This campground is beautifully maintained and the camping spots on the top level were large and covered with trees. The lake is beautiful and has a fun beach area, boat ramp and fishing piers. We are already planning our next trip to Goose Point.

This was a beautiful site. The water was so clear you could see the fish swimming. I’m coming back in July to camp. The beach area was really nice lots of kids playing. Just a suggestion the showers would be nice if they had a table or something to keep your stuff dry.

Enjoyable stay, the view across the lakes gorgeous. I enjoy the fishing and the boating. Being lake with no houses on it.It has a great beauty. Get to see a lot of wildlife on the shoreline, bears deer's turkey. It is a great place to camp.
