This is one of many xclt COE Campgrounds where you can keep your boat near your site on a great reserviour. This applys to the lower area only; the upper area is tight and sites are of lessor quality.

Goose Point is a beautiful campground off the beaten path, about 6 miles off. The roads are winding and not for the faint of heart. The final curve down to the lake sites is a sharp banked hairpin. Take the corner as far over as you can go or you might scrape the rear. We towed our 40’ 5th wheel in and out with no issues. Site two is a nice pull through but for the life of me I do not understand the placement of the wood posts. They are on both sides of the road portion of the site. In reality it would be a better site if the posts on the left side as you are pulling through were on the road to the other sites instead of on the site pad.

We arrived on a Friday, set up our camp and enjoyed swimming and had a nice fire. At about 10:30 we retired to our tents. There was a little noise but we figured it would quiet down. It got louder and louder and louder and by 1:30 am it finally stopped. No one got hardly any sleep and we woke up so tired. We didn't stay the second night that we paid for. I was so disappointed and requested a refund. I did receive my refund but it still didn't help the disappointment we felt due to having to cut or vacation short. They need to enforce the 10 pm noise ordinance and patrol more often.

We love staying at Goose Point! The sites along the lake are beautiful and we love being walking distance to the swimming area. The bathrooms are some of the cleanest camping bathrooms I've ever seen. We will definitely be coming back!

Campground was gorgeous and loved the beach, the campground itself was beautiful. My issues were with the people running the campground. I was straight up fussed at because I reserved 5 sites and it was hard for them to change names on sites and it went on and on. Then they tried to call the day before and caller ID said "telecom billing" I didn't answer, I was fussed at for not answering the day before my check in. I want to switch 1 night with a site I had booked for the next night, I was forced to pay an extra night because I had 5 sites in my name. I spent $350 then had to pay $25 more and have empty unused site because they couldn't switch that night. They stated any other reservation could be switched but not mine so either pay or risk having to switch sites. I was refunded the $25 after I came home and called to explain what happened. The way this was handled was terrible and due to staff I will never return to this campground.

The park is very clean along with a huge swim area. Floating dock is super nice to fish from with no fear of my kids falling in the lake. Everyone was super friendly. Bath houses were always clean. The only down fall was the one camp site we were on, it had a dust to dawn light and kept my 2yr old up, and couldn't sit outside and enjoy the dark by the fire. We have 3 more reservations to this campground this year 2020.
