We love staying at Longwood Campground! The lots are beautiful. The staff feel like family. We enjoy going to Buggs Island Brewery and the ice cream shop on Main St. when staying there.

Good location. Enjoyed Clarksville. Sad to see the lake so low. Hard for the locals to deal with it.

Overall the park & campground was clean and quiet. We had a few loud groups around us, but thankfully they didn’t stay as long as our trip was. Bathrooms were decent, had hot water and was stocked with paper towels or toilet paper. Our stay was during the time when the lake was low on water so that was unfortunate, but we still enjoyed the time away to relax in the quiet environment.

Longwood is always our favorite campground to visit. Even with the water low this year, we still had an amazing time. Our kids still were able to fish, ride bikes, and play baseball in their favorite spot (the big field in the center loop). The host staff is always so friendly. The lady that checked us in even had our 2 kids say a safety pledge to receive a badge and goodies. The park rangers passed through regularly, always waving and passing out goodies to the kids. We love Longwood and will recommend it to all campers!

Our stay was overall pleasant . Bathhouses could use some updating and cleaning . Campsite itself was excellent. We will be back !

The camping experience was nice. The lots are wooded space apart, but I could never get any water to come out of the showers. There was no hot water at all so you have to rely on your camper for a shower or none at all.
