The staff is like family. The sites are great. We love going to BIB Brewery and The Country Cottage downtown for ice cream. I love going to Morningstar’s Outlet shopping too. There is always something to do in Clarksville.

This is a beautiful park, well maintained. Camp Hosts and Park attendants are very nice and helpful. I stayed in campsite #1, paved and level, a very nice site across from the main bathhouse and dump station. Unfortunately, it's also right next to the dumpsters which reek of rancid fish. I called the main park number to let them know, and within minutes a Park Ranger was on the scene, and the dumpsters were being cleaned. But, the awful smell persisted. I would definitely camp here again, but I will never book site number one again because of the putrid fish smell. I wasn't able to sit outside and enjoy my stay the entire time I was there. Poor cell coverage using Verizon and AT&T. Starlnk was difficult to use because of tree cover.

Decent place to stay. Bathrooms were clean but showers are small with few places to put your shower items. My particular site was pretty bad about ticks so bring spray with you! No cell service (without a booster or satellite) in the whole campground so keep that in mind if you are a remote worker traveling.

As usual it was wonderful, just a great setting and the sites are perfect, the site we had was wooded and over looking the lake. The people at the Gate are just kind and helpful, always. Great Campground!

Been coming here for years, great place to camp, Clarksville is a great community to visit. Shops are friendly and always ready to help if needed. We come at least twice a year to camp and may come more this year.
