Rangers need to be able to tell other campers to turn down their music that is blaring during the day. I couldn't enjoy relaxing in my own campsite because the music was so loud. Not a pleasant experience when I was stressed out anyway and needed relaxation. The other campers were not even in their site but swimming down in the cove. I know you don't have quiet hours during the day but there still should be some limits on noise such as this. Not fair to other campers.

Park was clean. Rangers were great. We enjoyed the water. Fishing. paddle boarding and sun. We enjoy having a bunch of our family together.

Trying out a new camp trailer so stayed for a night close to home. Made reservations in advance (easy) and check in was very friendly and fast. Given directions and a map to our site. I discovered roads were designed for backing into camp sites with minimal effort even for the inexperienced driver. Plugged in power, leveled camper, put out awning and chairs and was set up within 10 minutes. Did not use or see all the parks amenities and disappointed in myself I did not take more time. Leaving we went out through station to empty waste, throw away trash, and even fresh water fill up all at same location. I cannot be more happy with the overall ease and price of a short but happy evening and morning. Virginia State Park Service well done!

We love North Bend! Our only irritation came from a large group of tent campers with many day visitors on the beach with many jet skis that took over the area. They were friendly but loud.
