We love this place. Beautiful views and spacious sites. Been coming here for 15 years and always enjoyed.
Tent campers: be prepared for incoming wind and rainstorms that come in fast. If your tent is good quality you’ll stay dry. Definately stake everything down and keep light weight items secured, and firewood in the car. I’ve learned this lesson the hard way.

Great place to visit! We've been going there for 60 years. The only bad thing is the reservation system. Couldn't be worse. The place is empty all week and then half the weekend only visitors don't show. They need to go back to first come first serve and fill the place up.

Absolutely beautiful campground. Large sites, plenty of distance from neighboring campers. Very clean, well maintained bath houses. Well equipped dump station. And of course the Kerr Lake is gorgeous. We enjoyed our time very much and will be back again next season!
