Can't choose your neighbor's, but as far as the actual camp grounds and facilities go it was awesome. Gave 5 stars because I'm not gonna blame the park for people..

This is a great campground. Sites are not jammed together as they are in private campgrounds. If you or the kids love to fish many of the sites on the lakefront. Our two grandkids caught four nice channel catfish. Great experience for them to eat the fish they provided. It's worth the ride to go see the back side of Kerr Dam. The day we were there they were catching lots of stripers, up to about 24". The best fishing is when they are generation power. You need a surf rod to reach the best water. There is a walkway you can fish from.

Greeted by a very nice attendant. The view at the campsite was great with plenty of wildlife. A fawn hung around for a couple of days. Campsites have plenty of room. Wish they sold firewood on site.
