My daughter and I chose a pad on the front loop for two nights. It was perfect for us - well maintained, pretty close to the shower house, access to the lake so we could launch and pull up our canoe, well shaded, with plenty of firewood available in the woods. The entrance personnel were polite and helpful. This was my second time to visit Rudd's Creek, and I'm sure I will come again!

We accidentally booked the double site but the site was beautiful. Not to close to people and a great lakefront view. The staff was nice as can be and even gave us some tips on fishing spots that did pan out to fish in the boat. Decent fishing all around. Definitely need to note the left side stays shaded all day long for the tent campers. Bathrooms and shower house washing and clean. And for the boaters you can beach your boat and use 130 ft extension cord to charge the boat batteries without having to trailer the boat. Be mindful of the furry friends. They are cute and friendly but will eat anything and take whatever you leave out. We will definitely be going back again. 10 outa 10 recommend.

We went for memorial weekend this year and it rained half of our trip, but we still had a great time! Due to the rain, it seemed like a lot of campers canceled so that was a plus for us because we had our entire loop to ourselves and it was nice and quiet. Most of the campsites here have small to medium sized lake front sites. Some of them are even private to just your campsite. This is great for pulling your boat up to your campsite and parking there for your whole trip. This is also a dog friendly park so your pups can even enjoy fetch and taking a dip in the water behind your site. The campsites are also more spaced out than a private/corporate campground, with lots of shade and trees. On the day it rained we went and checked out several neat bait/fishing shops, the little town of Clarksville is cute and has wineries, breweries, flea markets, thrift stores, and little shops to explore. So even if it rains there are still things to do in the surrounding area. The big draw to this campground is Lake Kerr and taking the boat out fishing, swimming, or tubing.

Water was down so it was great to fish when it wasn’t raining but otherwise great experience

Park is always very clean, as well as restrooms. We had trouble with our truck battery and John at the gate let us borrow his jumper cables. Very helpful. Even though it was a holiday weekend with lots of campers enjoying themselves, it was quiet and peaceful. We will come back again!
