many great campsites with view and/or access to the water. Some especially nice sites (to us at least based on desire for private sites): 49, 52, 64, 74, 75, 80, 85, 88, 91

I stayed at site 44. The rangers were awesome by being extra helpful, and regularly riding through the campground. The site itself was clean and a short distance from the water. In this part of the campground, the sites were very close to each other. I prefer sites with a little vegetation between sites for privacy and noise control. The site itself was level, but the slope of the driveway going down to the campsite was a higher grade making it difficult for my single axle trailer to pull forward to straighten out to back in. I can see that if I had a boat, kayak, or water board it would be very convenient to have ready access to the water right from the campsite, which is what many campers did. There were some very lovely campsites closer to the entrance without power/water and were much more private. I look forward to returning and staying at one of those sites.

The park was great and the spot, site 50, was great with the camping area split from the parking area. The only thing that would be good is if you made a path to the water and cleaned the area so that folks with boats at site 50 and 51 could beach a boat there. The site was clean and the power was super helpful! Checking in/out was super easy and the folks working the camp ground were super helpful. I just wish it was easier to get a site, but that's just a problem across the board. I will be staying here again for sure!

Busy campground but very comfortable sites. We had power boosters running and power amps were still running low with booster. Still a very enjoyable time, but really hard to book sites that are easy access to water for elderly.

This is a great campground. Lots of older folks (but so are we!) Our site had lakeside access, and we were able to put our kayak in right at the site which was great. A few small towns within half hour drive have some great eating establishments if you care to dine out. We will definitely stay here again.
