Campsite was great. Staff were great. Water level was low at 295. There aren't any real playgrounds in rudds that children can bike to, they must cross an interstate and thats not safe. It was nice being so close to clarksville for grocers and laundromat.

We had our young grandchildren with us on this trip. We extended our trip a extra day with the employee helping us. It was sad seeing the coves down on water but hopefully they have recovered some. No matter, we had a wonderful time. We swam at the park area across the hwy. at another Rudd Recreation area. The children had so much fun. We visited local restaurants and sites. They road scooters and hiked acouple trails. The area was well kept. The restrooms are nice in the sense that they are individual stalls with doors. Of course the restrooms were warm and had bugs. I would have loved a 5 star bathroom (laugh) but I know bathhouses are rustic.
