I've been staying at Rudd's for many years. It is always a pleasure. The sites are well maintained and for the first time ever the guard shack called to let us know before we arrived that the site was open before check-in. That was very nice and helpful.! The water being shut off without warning before our arrival could have been avoided. But the rangers did warn us 12 hours in advance. The other issue is not being able to lay carpet down without risk of a ticket. My boat is white and we'll maintained. Now it is red inside. If we need a crew to check the banks for unwanted litter then that's what needs to happen. . Not something I plan to have happen again. Ticket or not. I will not be dragging red mud into my boat daily again on my next trip. The bathrooms/showers seemed good. The sinks were not all working in the shower house and the towel dispenser was broken but I assume this was some of the shut down. The sinks were working when I left.
All in all great place to stay just a few things that need to be changed in my humble opinion.
Thank you sincerely,
Camper of many years..
