Experience was wonderful!
The experience was wonderful. The couple that manages Rudds Creek went out of their way to be helpful. The facilities were clean. I hope to camp there often.

This is my favorite Campground in Virginia. Staff is always friendly & helpful. My dog loves when they bring a treat out for her. Campsites & facilities are nice. Only downside is the boat ramp if you have a bigger boat/ truck or RV combo it is tight. Also if you self load/unload there is a separation between the ramp & dock of rock. I would suggest if either are an issue for you, use the Rudds day boat ramp directly across from 58.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- The campground gate house is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from April 1 to October 31.
Site capacity
- Camping equipment must fit within the site perimeters and tents should have padding due to gravel bases.
- The maximum stay is 14 days within any 30-day period, and changing reservations to extend the stay is prohibited.
Safety & rules
- Generators and music must be turned off by 10:00 p.m.
- Mail and packages cannot be sent to the park; they will be refused and returned to the sender.
Site types & loops
- Alcoholic beverages and off-road vehicles are not allowed in the campground.
Fees & deposits
- Interagency Senior and Access Pass holders get a 50% discount on camping fees, but must be present at registration.
