Middle Creek Campground

My children and grandchildren and I spend our family vacation here every year and we all love it. We just spent our sixth year here last week. The pool, the pond, the stars, many choices for hiking, Blue Ridge Mountains. The kids love being outdoors. They ride their bikes and explore the creeks. We enjoy each others company around our campfire. They love the gift shop.We have so much fun . Over the weekend was karaoke and then also an awesome country band. We look forward to it every year. What makes it extra special is the family who owns it. Susan is welcoming and a joy to talk to.All the staff is friendly and polite. Thanks for another year of memories!! I also want to say that since we tent camp it is convenient to have a covered pavilion by the pool to use in case it rains and there are private bathrooms and showers which are really nice to use.

An absolutely excellent campground set back in beautiful woodland. They were lovely to us when we got caught behind a bad accident and had to arrive late. The showers are also gloriously hot. The ideal camping experience.

My wife and I love this place. Its a convenient drive from home, pretty country, fairly clean bathrooms and showers, "depends on how busy the park is", great pool!, and awesome ponds to swim and fish in! This place is a great bang for your buck! The staff are friendly and helpful and the seasonal campers are friendly also.We found this place a year ago when we bought our first camper. We go 4-5 times a year, off and on seasons. However, this weekend, there was an issue that caused some discomfort for us. We decided to do a big family trip. While we were at the pool, one of the seasonal campers were making negative racial remarks about one of my family members. They were talking amongst their social circle, but we herd what they were saying. After that, the vibes were weird from them the rest of the trip. It was honestly a feeling of being unwelcome after that. I do not feel this will prevent us from returning, but if anything like that happens again, it will be addressed immediately and I hope action would be taken. I hope this feedback helps.

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s not too busy, there are quite a few residents that live there long term. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We didn’t like the spots we reserved so they told us to just pick two spots and if we wanted to move to leave a note on the door. Multiple activities for kids, and the store is nice. We’ll be back!

The owner, Matt, is an awesome guy. Super nice quiet place, a lot of seasonal campers that make you feel right at home. Unfortunately the store is closed right now, but he does have an ice machine free to guests & the bathroom and showers are newly remodeled and nice.
