So peaceful. No water or electric but still good for boondocking. I recommend a generator especially if it's real hot for your air conditioning. We Always enjoy camping here.

Excellent campground. Needs some repairs to sites. Picnic tables, etc. Hosts are great and sites are cleaned up as well as clean bath houses. Would love to see campsites upgraded with water and electric hook - ups. Itβs one of the best campgrounds in the state. Quiet, relaxing, and a little privacy within the sites. Easy access and a great taste of nature

Our camping trip was great. The hosts work hard at keeping the whole area clean as possible. Sure some money needs to be put into the bathrooms and sites but it is still a very nice and quiet campground. I really recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at this campground. The camp hosts were very nice and delivered the firewood right to our site.
The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that most of the sites are not level and that makes a difference when you are camping in a rooftop tent on your vehicle.
Bathhouses were clean and water was hot.
Would stay again next year for sure.

The campground is a peaceful place with large campsites that have a table, firepit and tent pad. Bathhouse is small but works and has hot water. It is close to the Jackson river, visitor center and Dam for Lake Momaw, biking and hiking trails. We enjoy visiting once a year. The hosts are friendly and helpful

Facilities were nice and clean. Near a good hiking trail. Campsite 23 & 24 are on top of each other. The fire pits and tables were right next to each other. Good thing there weren't any campers on site 23. It would be nice if two families or friends were camping together.
