Bathrooms were absolutely filthy, showers unusable and the fee to shower is absolutely way too high. Would not recommend to anyone

Well maintained campground with wild raspberries and quiet quests. Bathroom was clean.

Camping was perfect here. My site was surrounded by woods with only a path into it. I came in on a Monday and it was very quiet with only a couple other campers near by on Wednesday it started filling in but each site was spaced nicely and noise was not an issue. Hiking along the AT that goes around the campground was beautiful with lots of scenic overlooks. Lots of trails to choose from nearby as well! The most amazing part for me was how the deer were everywhere! They would follow their path eating the berries and foliage in the morning and the evening. They would come very close so I was able to grab a few good pics and videos of them too. It was a very peaceful relaxing experience and I can’t wait to visit again!

Nicest campground I have been to. Well maintained. Great host. Hot showers!

Some of the sites are much better than what I got. There were no flat spots on the site, it was very close to my neighbor and I was up against a fence for a water tower. The bathroom facilities were good and the campground in general was good, I just didn't get a very good site. Avoid the water tower area (F loop).

Camp check in was friendly and helpful when we asked about hiking trails. Facilities (especially the shower) was in bad shape. The mens room/shower was closed completely and had no water. The women's room had two showers out. All facilities looked very tired.

The Ranger at the check in was super nice, and the campground host close to us( at site 20) were helpful. This is the first time my family and I have stayed at Loft Mountain, and we will be back. Not crowded like Big Meadows, and the westward views are like no other.

The Park Ranger who checked us in was very nice, we showed up a week before our reservation (I misbooked) and she got the reservation moved to a "first come first served" spot in the park so we didn't have to pay for both.
If you have the option, I'd recommend trying for one of those first come first served spots... we got our pick of the lot by showing up ~5 on a Friday!
