The cabin is cute and very Instagram worthy. The design is clean, modern, and cozy. It’s definitely aesthetically pleasing.
That said, in the winter it didn’t feel like much of a true getaway. Once the leaves are gone, you can clearly see the neighboring cabins and they’re closer together than expected. Privacy felt limited, which took away from the secluded cabin experience we were hoping for.
If you’re visiting during warmer months when the trees are full, it might feel more private. Overall, nice stay. just not as secluded as it looks in photos.

We rented out a section of Postcard Cabins for a weekend of wedding events and had a wonderful experience. We reserved 14 cabins for our guests, and I was in constant communication with the staff—including Sydney, Katie, and Haley—who helped us set up the cabin block and coordinate the clearing used for our on-site events. They also provided helpful on-site items like picnic tables, a tent, trash cans, additional fire pits, and more, which made planning much easier. The cabins themselves were great—each one having its own bathroom, kitchen, and large bed was a huge plus and an easy deciding factor when choosing this location. The location itself was another big bonus, with many wineries and breweries nearby for guests to enjoy. Overall, the staff helped our entire weekend run perfectly and were incredibly attentive while we were there. I could not recommend spending a weekend here, or hosting events on the property!

Great spot for an adventure!
The rooms are well kept, the campus is spacious, and the staff is very responsive.
My wife and I stayed here with our dog and fit well. It will start to get tight after more than one night. Especially with no house keeping.
The outdoor addition is a must. The fire pit was great and they give you wood, a lighter, and starter so it’s effortless. Did not love their smores kit. We brought our own. Hammock was nice but it was too cold to use.
Showers have 5 minutes of hot water and 25 min recharge.
Very pet friendly. Bed is great (queen) and it has full cookware including can openers, tea kettle, insulated cups, and more.

We had a very relaxing 20th anniversary trip here. It was our first time and we will definitely be returning. They provided a destination package each day with oatmeal, coffee, tea, Hot chocolate, smart pop and two bottles of water as well as s'mores for two and three bundles of wood with fire starters and roasting sticks. We cooked breakfast there each day and went on adventures and came back each evening and roasted hotdogs and s'mores. Recharged and relaxed and connecting and just enjoying nature and each other's company. The staff is efficient and friendly.

If you want to get off the beaten path, unplug for a few nights, and enjoy nature, the stars and a nice fire; then this is the place for you. We stayed at the Linda for $160/night on a recent Sunday and Monday. The trailer was meticulously stocked with everything you need for a short stay, and the wood bundles, s'mores and oatmeal gets restocked by 4 in the afternoon. 5G connectivity is good enough that you shouldn't miss a call and can still stream your tunes (at a reasonable volume). Sites are about 50-100 yards apart giving you a good level of privacy while not feeling completely isolated. If you have a trailer with bunk beds, the steps are narrow and somewhat high, so keep that in mind for young ones. You're less than a 10 minute drive from several restaurants and small grocery stores in Stanardsville, and you're a 25 minute drive from the Elkton Brewing Company, which I highly recommend. We will definitely be back for another long weekend!!
