We love Loft. We erred in choosing our site and was very tight for our camper. So my recommendation is to make sure you click on the pictures on the online map so you can see what you’re getting.

Nice site. Bear box, fire ring provided. Very close to another site and close to bathrooms but far enough that it was still quiet.

Quietest, most private site I’ve ever had. Trees on three sides….animals, birds galore. Down sidewalk from nice restroom w/ running water and flush toilets.
Walk to paid showers, store which is a stop for AT hikers so got to chat w/several about their journey thus far. Also trailhead for AT is by store …did six mile hike on this historic trail myself. Internet reception w/my TMobile only at amphitheater.
Great four night stay.

Great site- well maintained. Our site did not have the bear proof storage container there so we had to hope for our best and store in trunk- overall nice sites and nice workers. Bathrooms are also nice.

G206 was an excellent site - fairly flat, spacious, with lots of tree coverage. The biggest con is the nearest to the group site, which was pretty loud.
Loft Mountain is close to some great hikes plus a wayside station and campground store. The amphitheater was fantastic and the ranger who invited us to a session was super friendly. The location is pretty buggy!

Great campground in the heart of Shenandoah National Park. We did not have an electric site but we came with a generator so no issues. Restrooms and showers were clean, visitor center good and the staff was awesome. Will definitely come back and recommend.
