We camped for three nights here at the loft campground and had a great time. The place is kept very clean and everything you need to know and understand is communicated with you by the rangers. Plan to come back to this site in the future!

This was a great campground. There were plenty of restrooms and they were clean for a campground bathroom! The lots themselves were a little small and if we had a different lot, we may have struggled with where to put the tent. The sunset view from the AT was astounding.

An older campground, we've been coming here for years.

I initially reserved site 197, which was absolutely terrible for summer camping. There was zero tree cover, it was very short for two, two-person tents, our tents were very close to the bear box, picnic table, and fire ring, there was very little flat ground, and the amount of vegetation lured a ridiculous amount of gnats and other flying bugs. I think it's a site mostly intended for a small camper rather than tents.
Luckily, the workers at the ranger station were absolutely accommodating and suggested we look at all of the first-come-first-serve sites and if we found one we liked, just move and let them know. We ended up at site B82, which had plenty of flat ground, space, tree cover, and room for the cars.

Lovely, secluded camp area that was very green and peaceful. Highly recommend! Also close to the bathrooms and the Appalachian Trail.
