Could use more gravel at campsite 15. Most on slope around asphalt has washed away. Not many water spigots.
Loved the spacing & trees between sites.
Great hosts from FL. Sure appreciate the bear trapping efforts, as it walked right by my camper.
Sorry the NPS is getting cut - this WH is nuts!

Campground was easy to maneuver and we had a 42 foot motorhome and we were towing a Jeep. Quiet and peaceful. The campground was clean and well maintained. Close to the great amphitheater program. Our spot had 50 amp electric hookup and it was private and we will come back.

Been camping here for 12 years and it's my favorite campground. It's the first time that there were a couple of bears roaming around made it exciting.

We came back here because our first stay a week prior was pleasant however this time was a complete 360. We rolled in from Michigan around 1am and took less than 15 mins to setup and go to sleep till morning. During which time a lady come up to my face and proceeded to school me on quiet hours. I told her I understood and we were almost done. The next morning we woke up to a ranger at our tent talking about complaints about us. We explained what happened and all seemed good. An hour later another ranger shows up and asks us if everything is okay. We explained again and all was okay until another ranger all different shows up about 45 mins later. At this point we wanted out and after talking with this ranger we decided to take a loss and cancelled, lost money, and completely changed our opinion on this place and the state of Virginia. As we were leaving we saw 5 rangers patrolling around the campground. Never in my life have we been so confused, embarrassed, and unsafe all because of a woman who doesn’t understand that people can roll in late with travels. We will never come back and honestly never stay in Virginia again. This was uncalled for and these rangers should be ashamed of themselves as well as the woman who terrorized us to get us out. Who we saw her doing the same thing to another camper as we were leaving

We loved camping here! It was beautiful! The site was pretty level and the way the sites are separated is nice too. Just watch for the poison ivy all around. Also watch as some
Other sites are not as level
Here.

This is my favorite campground and it is very clean, wooded, and plenty of near by trails. F-11 is conveniently located across from the showers and bathrooms. Would definitely recommend this campground and site

Cumberland Gap NP is so clean
& maintained well, friendly staff!!
Such a beautiful park & area
Loved the history & trails
We did the TriState Trail which was a challenge for older folks on a hot day.
But the view was amazing & my husband is a land surveyor, so it was interesting for him.

Nice campground in the woods. Most sites are somewhat short so pay attention to the length of the site. There’s poison ivy everywhere. Bathrooms were clean while we were there. Lots to do here at this park.
